FREDERIKSTED, St Croix, USVI- A man is facing charges of reckless endangerment and brandishing a firearm after admitting to police officers that he shot an unlicensed firearm into the air in an attempt to intimidate a rival.

MIAMI, Florida, USA- United States District Judge Kathleen M. Williams today, June 20, 2024, sentenced former Managing Director of the BVI Ports Authority (BVIPA) Oleanvine Pickering-Maynard to 9 years in prison for her involvement in a drug smuggling plot that also implicated her son Kadeem S. Maynard and former premier Andrew A. Fahie.
