Every 5 minutes, the points gained from objectives are added to the War Score of each world (PPT = Points Per Tick). Additionally, capping an enemies' objective will also add points to the War Score, based on the tier of the objective (see table below). Points per tick/capture. Base Points. Secured.
Pips are earned with each tick while having at least Tier 3 participation. Although the interface states as long as you have Tier 3 participation any participation Tier greater than or equal to 3 will count for earning pips.

Consortium and the Fused Molten Sickle are the fastest harvesting tools I think. If you look at the data , it is Unbound and not Volatile which is fastest for mining and logging. I have both Molten and Consortium and they are definitely lots faster than any other.
Assuming 100% uptime of Tier 6 participation you can expect a reward track completion every: 8 hours and 35 minutes with no boosts. 3 hours and 45 minutes with maximum boosts (other than event boosts)
